This Cookie Policy explains cookies, local storage and similar technologies used by TempoLock and its providers. TempoLock is operated by Michael Eddy. Questions can be sent to support@tempolock.app.
1. Essential browser storage
TempoLock uses browser localStorage and sessionStorage for settings, audio/theme preferences, local progress, guest identifiers, queued score submissions, temporary workflow state and session continuity. Some of this storage is necessary for features you request to work properly.
2. Authentication storage
Supabase provides authentication/session handling. Session information may be stored in your browser so you remain signed in. If you choose Google or Facebook sign-in, those providers may use their own cookies/security technologies on their domains as part of the authentication flow.
3. Advertising storage
TempoLock uses Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, may place/read cookies or use similar identifiers and web beacons to serve, limit, personalise and measure advertising. Google advertising cookies may be associated with Google or DoubleClick domains. Where permitted, Google and partners may use visits to TempoLock and/or other sites to personalise ads.

4. Consent in the UK, EEA and Switzerland
Where consent is required for non-essential advertising storage or personal-data use, TempoLock uses Google's consent management solution or another Google-certified CMP integrated with the applicable IAB Transparency & Consent Framework. The consent interface provides the choices required by the configuration and applicable rules. You can later revisit those choices using the privacy and cookie settings control.
5. Analytics
TempoLock does not currently load a separate analytics product such as Google Analytics. Advertising, hosting and authentication providers may still produce their own operational/security/advertising measurements under their policies and your applicable choices.
6. Your browser controls
You can delete or block site data in your browser. Doing so can sign you out, reset preferences/guest identity, remove local progress or stop some functionality. Browser controls do not replace consent choices already available through the site's privacy interface.
7. Updates
This policy is updated if TempoLock adds materially different analytics, advertising, tracking or storage technologies.
