TEMPOLOCK MODES

Every TempoLock game and tool

What each game and practice tool trains, and when to use it.

TempoLock is built around different kinds of timing pressure. Some modes remove the click and ask you to hold a pulse internally; others add visual search, rhythm memory or a longer silent interval. The tools are there when you want practice without a score.

Why separate modes?

A single tapping test can hide the reason a player struggles. Timing Trials asks whether you can continue a pulse once the click is gone. 16 Beat stretches that same skill over a longer silent interval. Tempo Aim adds a coordination task so attention is divided. Echo Chain asks you to preserve the shape of a rhythm as well as its timing. Timing Lab turns single skills, such as a rudiment, an accent pattern or a polyrhythm, into short scored games. Practice Mode removes ranking entirely so you can repeat a focused exercise.

A high score in one mode does not mean every part of your timing is equally strong.
